Kathryn Dorsey, MBA
Kathryn has over twenty-five years of experience in health care research and public policy. She currently serves as a Program Coordinator for the Department of Family and Community Medicine and Kennelty Research Group. She's the project manager for a $17.9 million PCORI-funded clinical trial, and she manages a practice-based research network called the Iowa Research Network (IRENE). Her work has included managing NIH-funded clinical trials and Medicare demonstration projects, leading statewide initiatives for children with special healthcare needs, and conducting federal policy analysis at the Congressional Budget Office.
Kathryn grew up on a farm that has been in her family for six generations. She learned to ride horses at about the same time that she was learning how to walk, and her love for working with horses continues to grow. She lives with her teenage son and daughter, house rabbit, several cats, and backyard chickens.
